Bertelkamp Automation is dedicated to help its customers achieve their automation goals by offering both factory-authorized and customized training. We also offer customized onsite training at customer’s facilities to fit your schedule and needs.

Bertelkamp Automation boasts a dedicated training section at its Knoxville, TN headquarters, supporting PLC, HMI, robotics, and machine vision courses. We offer anything from beginner classes to advanced programming classes. Class sizes range from 5 to 12 students. Classes typically run from 1 day to 4 days, depending on the course material.

In addition to training courses, Bertelkamp Automation also hosts training seminars throughout the Southeast. These seminars cover automation control, robotics, or machine vision. The seminars offer existing and potential customers to learn about the various automation components, their role in manufacturing, and new products/technologies.

Bertelkamp Automation offers training on Mitsubishi’s PLC software. Whether you use GX Works2 with the Q, L, or FX PLCs, or you use GX Works3 with the iQ-F or iQ-R PLCs, we offer standard and custom training. Whether you need training for your engineering staff or maintenance personnel, we provide the type of training that you need.

Robotics Training

Bertelkamp Automation offers training classes with a concentration on Mitsubishi robot programming or maintenance. From learning how to develop the controls of the robot, or changing the batteries, let Bertelkamp support you. We also understand that the collaborative robot spectrum is evolving and growing, and as such, we offer programming and maintenance training for Techman Cobots.

Machine Vision Training

Bertelkamp Automation offers the In-Sight© EasyBuilder Standard class from Cognex to help develop your personnel’s Machine Vision capabilities. The class teaches the basic topics of how to configure a vision application using the EasyBuilder configuration user interface. The In-Sight EasyBuilder Standard product class gives new In-Sight users an overview of the hardware and software used by In-Sight Vision Systems. With the focus on getting the most from the In-Sight Explorer EasyBuilder interface, users learn how to walk through the process of setting up a vision application using EasyBuilder best practices.

HMI Training

Bertelkamp Automation offers training classes to support both the GOT1000 and GOT2000 series HMIs from Mitsubishi. This course will teach students basic HMI screen design, including how and when to use buttons, recipes, comments, alarms, scripts, etc. This class can be combined with the PLC training to be more efficient.
